When I first found out about CTR-US, I was shocked and didn’t believe it was possible. I had suffered with this problem for over forty years. My friend who lives in SC emailed me and told me he had it done. We got into an email fight! I knew all about this and he was WRONG! He played golf nine times in two weeks after the procedure! NO WAY! He sent me the info and I got dizzy. How could this be? There wasn’t a single facility here that did it. So, I called Dr Gaytons office and we o in vacation, had it done! Best nights sleep I’ve had in years and years. Back when I first realized I had a problem, I made an appointment with a hand surgeon. They told me I had to have both wrist done with open surgery and if I didn’t get this I ran the risk of permanent nerve damage. Of course I scheduled it, but didn’t like the idea of so much down time. Months! A few weeks later, a friend told me I didn’t need this surgery but to take a vitamin instead. I did and got relief. Cancelled the surgery! I has mild success with this vitamin, along with braces, stretches and other voodoo trials. Finally after years and years I went back just a couple of years ago and ask what was NEW in treating carple tunnel issues. Pretty much the same. They wanted to do open on my right wrist, and endoscopy on my left. Down time again was my biggest issue. Plus, they were correct, after all those years, I did lose feeling in three fingers on my right hand. I ask if this surgery would give me feeling back. They said NO! Leaving, I was depressed and feeling stupid for not getting the surgery years ago. Guess what? I have feeling BACK in my three fingers in my right hand again. I never expected that but Dr. Gayton told me there was a chance of regeneration, about an inch per month. Now beside all the wonderful nights sleep, no tingling and braces, I also can FEEL my fork, pen, toothbrush, hot water, buttons and my zipper on My pants again!
