Dr. Farrar completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. He then finished both his medical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He went on to further his training in the subspecialty of joint replacement and completed his adult hip and knee reconstruction fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
