Local Girl Bounces Back After Trampoline Injury Follow-Up With OrthoSC

At just 4 years old, Izzy D. is already known for her adventurous spirit. Whether she’s cheering, swimming, or racing around Broadway Grand Prix, she’s always on the go. But one day, a fall on the trampoline brought her fun to a sudden stop. From there, she landed in the ER with a broken arm.

After her initial visit to the emergency room, Izzy and her family followed up at OrthoSC. From the moment she arrived, Izzy felt comfortable, and that made all the difference.

“They had to X-ray and cast it,” Izzy’s mom, Carlee, recalled. “She had a wonderful experience. They took away all of her fears.”

Izzy did take her cast off at some point, requiring a quick visit for a replacement. Carlee stated that this is quite typical for her daughter.

Despite the bump in the road, her recovery went smoothly. “She is doing great now—been perfect since she got her cast off,” said Carlee.

Now, Izzy is back to doing what she loves most, like exploring the world with fearless joy. Thanks to her spirit and the expert care at OrthoSC, she’s healthy, happy, and as unstoppable as ever.

Izzy’s story also serves as a powerful reminder to keep safety a priority with trampoline fun. Our experts at OrthoSC recommend ensuring one jumper at a time, always having adult supervision, and making sure you're using a safety net and pads.
