Dr. James Merritt Helps Local Patient Get Back in the Game
81-year-old Larry Wilson is an avid pickleball and softball player. After experiencing hip pain, Larry scheduled a hip replacement with Dr. James Merritt. Four weeks later, he was back on the court! However, he needed a replacement on his other hip shortly after that. Fortunately, it only took four weeks again before Larry was back to being active.
Larry recently took home a gold medal at the Mid-Atlantic Pickleball Tournament held right here in Myrtle Beach. He will also head to Florida this December for the national tournament!
