Wayne B. Bauerle, M.D.
Spinal Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. Wayne Bauerle specializes in orthopedic spinal surgery. Dr. Bauerle graduated cum laude from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He later earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
After medical school, Dr. Bauerle completed his general surgery internship at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, before returning to Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Medical College for his orthopedic surgery residency training. He went on to complete additional training through The Maryland Spine Fellowship in spinal reconstructive surgery at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Maryland.
While in college, Dr. Bauerle was in varsity track and field, an NCAA Division III Academic/Athletic All-American, and served as co-captain in a Division III Middle Atlantic Conference Championship team. As a former competitor in elite collegiate athletics, Dr. Bauerle understands the importance of musculoskeletal health in high-level performance as well as everyday living, and he is dedicated to helping his patients get back to doing what they love.
Dr. Bauerle is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
