OrthoSC named presenting partner of 3DE by Junior Achievement

OrthoSC has partnered with Junior Achievement of Greater SC and will serve as the presenting partner of 3DE by Junior Achievement, a nationally recognized educational model that reimagines high school learning through real-world business challenges, project-based instruction and career-connected experiences.

OrthoSC joined representatives from Junior Achievement of Greater SC, Horry County Schools and Conway High School, along with other community partners, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Conway High School on Aug. 19, celebrating the school as the inaugural 3DE school in Horry County.

As a presenting partner, OrthoSC will play a leading role in supporting students as they develop the critical thinking, collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in today's workforce. The partnership reflects OrthoSC's long-standing commitment to strengthening the communities it serves by investing in education and preparing the next generation of leaders.

“When we had the opportunity to serve as the presenting sponsor of 3DE, we saw it as a chance to invest not just in our community today, but in the people who will shape its future,” said Kasey Herrington, chief operating officer of OrthoSC. “By connecting classroom learning to real businesses, real challenges and real careers, 3DE helps students see possibilities for their futures that they may never have considered.”

3DE by Junior Achievement transforms the traditional high school experience by connecting classroom learning to authentic business challenges. Throughout the school year, students work in teams to solve real problems presented by local and national companies, gaining valuable experience while building the durable skills employers seek.

"Community partnerships are at the heart of 3DE's success," said Lisa Green, vice president of development at Junior Achievment. "OrthoSC's leadership and investment will provide students with incredible opportunities to engage with business professionals, explore career pathways and see firsthand how their education connects to the world beyond the classroom."

Through the partnership, OrthoSC team members will have opportunities to engage directly with students through classroom visits, business case experiences, mentoring and career exploration activities. These interactions will provide students with valuable insights into health-care, business and leadership while reinforcing the importance of innovation, teamwork and service.

Together, OrthoSC and Junior Achievement are committed to preparing students for future careers while strengthening the local talent pipeline and creating lasting economic impact across the region.
