Urgent Care Ribbon-Cutting & Basketball Donation Event in Market Common March 1

OrthoSC, the region’s most preferred orthopedic practice, will host a charity basketball collection and ribbon-cutting ceremony for OrthoSC’s new Market Common Urgent Care on March 1 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 3620 Walton Drive. Basketball donations will be presented to Horry County Special Olympics during the event. Practice staff, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, area Special Olympics board members and Horry County Ambassador athletes will be in attendance. Local providers, community members and media are all invited to the event, which will feature a donation ceremony to the local Special Olympics chapter. The basketball collection will serve to ensure Horry County Special Olympics athletes can train and compete. The practice will have a collection table at the event where attendees and community members can donate women’s and men’s basketballs for athletes to use. 

Through the newly opened orthopedic Urgent Care, OrthoSC providers will accommodate patients with urgent orthopedic needs and help area residents save time in receiving care while also reducing emergency room traffic.
