Three local orthopedic practices merge to become OrthoSC

Carolina Orthopaedics, Coastal Orthopedics and Strand Orthopaedics have merged to become OrthoSC. This new, 27-doctor orthopedic practice with an extensive, specialized staff will serve patients together, effective August 1, 2018. By calling (843) 353-3460, patients can schedule an appointment at any one of their four convenient locations: 210 Village Center Blvd. or 185 Fresh Drive, Suite B, in Myrtle Beach; 2376 Cypress Circle, Suite 300, in Conway; and 3545 Frontage Road, Suite 200, in Murrells Inlet.

With 27 specialty-trained doctors, 11 physician assistants and a certified orthopedic family nurse practitioner at four locations throughout the region, OrthoSC provides unparalleled bone and joint care to the entire Grand Strand community. The practice’s providers have been serving the area’s orthopedic needs for many years, and all OrthoSC’s doctors have extensive training in their respective fields. The stated vision of the new group includes improving the quality of care by standardizing processes and tracking outcomes, lowering costs, collaborating with hospitals in improving the overall level of care and providing better access to patients when and where they need it.
