Steven M. Callihan, M.D.
Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Steven Callihan graduated from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in biology. He went on to earn his doctor of medicine degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
After medical school, Dr. Callihan underwent an internship and orthopedic residency training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Callihan is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Callihan played college football as a split end, earning most valuable player status his final two years and making five pass-receiving records at the University of Rochester. He has also been a Dunes Club Singles and Doubles Champion two years in a row, and as an athlete, Dr. Callihan understands the importance of an active, healthy lifestyle and staying pain-free.
Dr. Callihan enjoys getting outdoors with fishing, hunting, and playing tennis. He also enjoys attending local sports activities with his children.
